Milk me.

I drew this today.

In other news, I’m feeling a little blue. Dunno why. Probably lack of exercise, insufficient sleep, poor diet (I’ve let myself go these last few weeks), and more drawing to do than I can do in the time alotted.

So I doodled something fun instead of stressing. Besides, it’s Sunday.

In other news, I’ll be in Livermore California this next week, starting Wednesday night. Schlockers looking for a meet-up should head over to schlocktroops and discuss — the only free time I have is Monday the 13th, but I’ll be vehicular, and I’ll have my drawing stuff. I’ll also probably be tearing my hair out (yes, I’ve grown some hair up top) looking for chances to escape the madhouse that is the Family Reunion. After four days of it, who will blame me?

  1. Love that cow….

It looks very Discworldesque to me, for some reason. However, I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling blue. Hope the meetup on Wednesday cheers you up.

  2. Very nice. I can envision, following the dragon-cow’s gaze off the right edge of the picture, a very surprised and possibly injured farmer, having just persuaded not to milk him.

    1. The position of the stool and bucket do seem to suggest that trajectory… and I have a mental image of someone curled up in a small fetal ball of pain, clutching sensitive parts of their anatomy…

      Bwhahaha….

    2. “…persuaded not to milk HIM”?
Nothing drinkable comes out of males when you milk them.
Well, you can drink it, but its nasty.

  3. 0.o

Okayyyy….. kinda raises the question of why you’d draw that…?

Although I guess some of those adolescent male dragons without a breeding ground, must get pretty desperate come springtime…

  4. Dude…family reunion?

You have my deepest sympathies, Mr. Tayler, sir.

Really. You don’t deserve that level of torture.

(But please pass on my regards to your hypochondriac Great Aunt Ethel who’s been dying of something or another for the past 37 years, 2 months, 4 days, 17 minutes. And don’t lie to me. Everyone’s got a relative like that. I do too, even if she ain’t called Ethel. :p)

    Cheers,
    Guapo

  5. If you were meant to drink ‘Cow’s’ Milk …

you would have four hands to milk with. The question is, “Did the farmer have two hands or four?”

  6. The long-lost cow-dragon species. If you drive through Southwest Minnesota at around 2 AM, you can see the ghosts of the fire spewing cow-dragons with your peripheral vision.

    1. Must be somewhere away from I-90, then; I’ve driven from Sioux Falls to Fairmont a few times late at night and haven’t seen anything like that…maybe you have to go up MN 60 towards the Cities.

      1. Hey, are you telling me I hullicinated or somethin’. I might of had a few ‘shrooms that night, but dammit, those critters were real!

  7. Wow, I’ve really been enjoying your recent sketches.

I know it’s a bit out of your current field, but if you ever end up illustrating a children’s book, please let us know. I’d want it on my shelf next to Tuesday, Professor Wormbog and the Search for the Zimparumpazoo, and such.
