I meant to write this yesterday, but I was too sick to.
I’ve pretty much lost two days of work to being sick. I’m only feeling a little bit better today, but I’m going to get some work done regardless.
The problem with being self-employed is that nobody picks up the slack for you when you’re sick. The nice thing about having a buffer of comics is that at least my readers don’t read me the riot act every time I forget to take my Vitamin C.

I have to say that out of the ~30 webcomics I monitor yours never ceases to impress me due to that buffer.
Well done Mr. Taylor. Well done indeed.
Indeed. Howard’s dedication to the buffer never ceases to impress me, and the reluctance/inability of other artists to recognize the benefits of a buffer and/or adopt one themseleves never ceases to baffle me.
I’d have to say that while I’m impressed, I’m not overwhelmingly so. Mr. Taylor does this for a living, meaning that it’s most of what he does. Most of the other artists who’s strips I follow have other forms of financial support or schooling that take precidence over the strip.
Still though, good job keeping the buffer in the black. { : ]
Except, of course, that there was buffer before it was done “for a living”.
If this is the same icky stuff Sandra was describing.. yuck. You two feel better, y’hear?
Hope you feel better soon!

I hate being sick, but for some reason this year, I’ve been sick more often than not. Fortunately, January brings with it a new Flexible Spending Account for medical matters, and I beleive the good Doctors and I will begin looking at possible ways to make me be not sick so much.
In the mean time, I have to go read Burlew and Abrams the riot act for not – wait, they have comics up today. Nevermind. 😉
get better
On your daily rant:
I’ve always preferred “Naught” to “ought.” Therefore, this decade is the Naughties and I will miss it when it is gone.
GWS Howard.
and BTW, think yerself lucky, I could do with losing about 5 *stone*.
‘s a perennial new-year resolution…
