Nestle, get thou behind me…

A while back I mixed Nesquik and Carnation malted milk, and had a great chocolate malted milk. Recently I decided to pick up some malt powder, and realized that Nestlé owns Carnation, and was now selling Chocalate Malted Milk powder.

I bought some.

It is good.

It is, I might be tempted to say, TOO good.

In fact, as soon as I finish typing this, I’m going to go upstairs and have yet another glass, and it will be GONE.

  1. Sounds like I must go find this wonder drink. I am sure I will like it too much as well. This is definitely one gene we share.

  2. Maybe someone at Nestle read your mind? 😀

That sounds good, though – I’ll have to see if I can find some later. It looks like you’ll have to add the malted milk to the list of drinks (including Nesquik) that you’ll have to ban from your presence, though. 😀

  3. I’d say, well, that’s the French subverting the USA again (you can tell by the é in Nestlé) but I think they’re Swiss….
    You’ll have to Heidi’t away…..

  4. Nestle owns a surprising number of other food companies, actually. At one time, that was the single largest corporate entity in the world – it may still be, I don’t know for sure. I do know they owned a controlling interest in Cadbury’s and, at one point, the parent company for Burger King. Their also supposed to be big into several of the frozen food companies. So this isn’t really a big surprise for me.

  5. Have you checked?

From the way it sounds, it may be behind you – or IN your behind. My dad always joked with people that claimed they had ‘lost some weight’, “Turn around, I’ll help you find it!” I can only carry on the tradition.

  6. I picked up a container of that a week or so ago myself. I have now gone through 1.5 gallons of ice cream making malts. I’ve also gained 4 pounds. I wonder if there is some correlation?

  7. There are worse things to become addicted to, believe me. Cold Stone Creamery, for instance, has introduced Wasabi Ginger Ice Cream.

Rather tasty flavor, with a slight tingly burn.

I was amused at the very least.
